We visited the centre last year to look at re-homing a cat. The staff were very knowledgeable and it was obvious that they were passionate about their job and only had the animals best interests at heart. We found a lovely tabby cat called Maia(7 yrs old)who had been in the shelter for a month and you could tell that life in the shelter was getting her down, she looked totally miserable. We got to go in her cage and pet her and she even allowed us to hold her. Two days later we took her home and she is the most contented cat ever. If you are looking for a cat please consider an older cat..they might not be as playful as a kitten but they need a home too. Before and after pics, just look at this gorgeous girl now 😻
There people do amazing work and bow I have my girl forever thank you xx

Fantastic charity, and an excellent way to meet your new furry friend. Greyhounds are lazy, friendly, intelligent dogs, and love to snuggle on the couch. Pop along, meet some hounds, maybe you'll find the ideal pet or new "furry baby"
For being in the middle of Glasgow there is a wonderful beach. Massive park with lots to do. Area for bbq as well

Beautiful walks. And an excellent play area for the kids (aimed at ages 3-13). Nice cafe and good gift shop (it is expensive, as are all gift shops). The toilets were okay but no way to dry your hands 😧. Beautiful views and a great place to get married too 🙂
We had a lovely day at the castle. The castle is in a beautiful setting with so much history pretty sure there was so much more to discover than we saw which would warrant further visits. There is a play area for the kids who looked like they were having a blast . The grounds are dog friendly and partly accessible for wheelchair users. I can recommend the apple pie in the cafe and the walk through the woodlands. Nice to get outside and blow the cobwebs from your hair and all basically on the doorstep of Glasgow.

Local help for non-profit and social enterprise organisations in the South Lanarkshire area of Scotland. Training is provided, help and assistance with governance and funding also. There is ample car parking available and the office is not far from the train station too.
Good advice and they were very helpful.
